City of Woodinville

Horse Picture

This long-time rural community was incorporated only in 1993. As a city, it is suddenly grappling with issues related to tremendous growth and traffic. Woodinville is known as a "horsey" place, where many properties have acreage with barns, and riding stables and bridle trails are common.

The home of esteemed winery, Chateau Ste. Michelle, the largest in the Northwest, Woodinville has also become home to Columbia Winery, Redhook Brewery, and other boutique vintners and brewers. Top-flight national entertainers do summer concerts at the outdoor stage of the Ste. Michelle Winery. It's an opportunity to take a picnic and have a memorable experience!

All of us local residents enjoy seeing hot-air balloons rising in the skies over Woodinville in the spring and summer. I've seen eight to ten at one time! Most of the addresses in the Woodinville area are within the excellent Northshore School District. Some of Woodinville's areas are Hollywood Hill, Wellington, Cottage Lake, and English Hill.
